Mark Farner’s American Band is honored to rock tonight’s North Shore Animal League America ‘Get Your Rescue On’ Gala at Chelsea Piers in NYC.

North Shore Animal League America, the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization, will hold its annual “Get Your Rescue On” Gala on Friday, November 15th at 7:00 pm at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers in New York City. A stellar line up of attendees from all sectors of New York’s animal-loving community are expected. Television and Stage Actress Kathryn Erbe will host the evening which will be highlighted with aCrystal Collar Award to be presented to Good Morning America Co-Host Lara Spencer and recognition of Corporate Honoree Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health. There will be a special live performance by singer/songwriter/supporterJoshua Radin.  Mark Farner’s American Band will round out the evening’s entertainment with a live performance.

The Gala supports North Shore Animal League America’s ever-expanding no-kill mission with all proceeds from the event dedicated to the recently opened Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center (BFF.)  This 14,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Feline Adoption & Wellness Center enables the League to continue to provide state-of-the-art care with a second story addition to the existing shelter that hosts a cage-free, natural living environment for felines.  Overall, this project will enable us to provide the best quality of life for all the animals in our care while they await adoption into permanent homes.
